the frame is a bsa para bike but ive never seen that suspension on the front it looks like its been added from a motorbike
been offered it for £300 quid is that cheap enough?
Hi, only the frame is correct.
The front forks, handlebars, sprocket and pedals are incorrect.
See if the tyres are marked "War Grade".
£300 seems a lot for a frame alone.
Cheers, Ade.
hi tyres totally rotten no markings
think i will leave as a bad egg or make an offer just for frame what would you guys offer?
Personally, I would pass on this unless it was very cheap. ie about £100. The problem is finding all the missing parts: Front forks, handlebars, lamp bracket, full set of front and rear brakes, brake levers, sprockets, pedals, etc. The pedals I can tell you that you would almost certainly need to have these remade anew.
Having said that, for all we know, these forks might be worth something. Or they could be scrap iron..
Cheers, Ade.
Thanks i will leave it on your advice as i trust your judgement better than mine.Kind regards Airwarrior
My pleasure. It is a pity the owner is not looking for a more realistic price. It would be nice to see it restored.
Cheers, Ade.
What would be a fair price for a reasonable condition machine? Reason for asking the outlaws had one, left it garden to rust contrary to my advice and skipped it whilst i was on my hols along with alot of sex pistols vinyl one of which was worth £1000 (not mine, their sons). I'd like them to be aware of what they have chucked.
