I picked this holster at a boot sale some time ago not sure if its military issue or not, can anyone Id the holster.

Thanks for the reply Gary, I never found any info on the holster now nearly 2 years later I have a starting point to search the web.
Any Idea what pistol it would be used for.

Turns out the holster is French for a Mas 50 Pistol.
