Me and the kid hit the local antique shops yesterday and happened across this historic photo taken at the Amache Japanese Interment Camp aka Granada War Relocation Center. The internment camp was located in Granada, Colorado and house just over 7000 Japanese Americans. It is amazing that even today so very few American's know of the internment of Japanese Americans by the US government, it's not mentioned in our schools history books, a very sad stage of affairs.

Japanese Internment Camp Find

This appears to be an original photo of the camps Judo class and bares a stamp on the back that reads Amache Colorado Judo in an oval.

Now it's time to to work to learn more about the photo and maybe try and find someone that can interpret the symbols written over on the left.

I hope you enjoy,
