Local market find

Found this old helmet in the lokal market. Any info would be apreciated. I treid to find what it is, but no succes.

nice find!
Your helmet is a Belgian cuirrasier helmet first model.Made by Fonson in Brussels.
It is however missing many parts, but never the less a nice find.
When you say find on a local market , witch coutry are from?
Here is what it should look like.

Hello, thanks for the answer. I am from Romania and i bought the helmet from a local market. Any idee what year is this helmet? Or the period the first model was produced. Also how much dose it worth in this state?

Used from 1830 to 1842.
In good condition they sell for about 1200 tot 1400 euro.
Hard to say what you will get for this one.My guess 300 to 500...

Not intrested for the momment, thanks for asking.
You might find the missing parts, but it could take ages.....
And honestly I never saw the visor (front part) being offered...but never say never!
