Studied the switch and the pictures again. Take a look at this:

I am pretty sure the three holes are for the bakelite switch. I will study mine carefully to see if they are welded up.

Do you guys think the switch were mounted on the inside or outiside??

    Here are my finds:

As you can see there has been several holes that have been welded up. But the three on the right matches the switch, and thre of the left ones matches the connector.

My guess is that the switch were mounted on the inside. Otherwise the cable must have been layed around the inside edge of the frame. It would also be pretty unprotected on the outside. And until I have any other proofs, I will mount it there. If you look at this photo again, I believe (with a little help from my fantasy) I can se the connector..but not the switch.

And I also found this on my trailer:

Looks like something has been cut off?? ("S" shaped) Any ideas guys?

    Cheers

Hello Radek. Looks like we have the same tyre. And I also think I can see "HVK" carved into the side? That is from Norway and means: Hærens Våpentekniske Korps, which would be in English something like: The Armys weapon technical unit. This unit were resposible for logistic of all parts for vehicles. And since rubber were scarce after the war, they carved it into the tyre to prevent theft.
