Old Khaki Cartridge Belt Identification Needed

Found this old Khaki Cartridge Belt, Need to ask the experts “you Guys” for help identification.
I’m betting this belt has got to have 100 years on it.
I thought at first was child’s toy waist size max 29”
Then I saw some green corrosion where the brass cartridges had been and realized it was not a toy.
    HEAVY AGED KHAKI CANVAS
    NO Markings at all.
    Holds 25 Cartridges/Ammo
Fittings are metallic some with heavy black paint on them

    Any Clue’s, Please help

By the size of the loops for the ammo i'd say it's for shotgun shells!...
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

I'm Spartacus, not really i'm Paul!...

I remember small game hunting with my grandfather in the
70's and he had one that looked just like that. When he got it is a whole different story . Gary
