Default Part 2 - treasures in scrap yard

    Hi,

I have been able to find the box where I kept the other items I found on the scrap yard together with the helmets (see this thread for the story: https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/attic...crap-yard.html ).

Visible on the first photo are a spanish Mauser bolt, an MG-34 firing pin, two drawstrings, several leather reinforcements and split pins, all from german helmets, and several machinegun links. The Fascist eagle found on the front of some helmets we found is also included in the pic.

The other photos are from the leather pouch I mentioned in my other post. Once I took it out of the box to photograph it, I discovered (thanks to the Espenlaub web page) that it is a pouch for a K-98 grenade launcher (Gewehrgranategeraet). See here: WW2 German K98 grenade launcher

Unfortunately the contents were incomplete, only one of the tools was inside. This pouch is the only one I kept.

    Regards,

    Gus
