Periscope

Hi all I have this periscope but I know nothing about it. Only markings are an E on either side of it and roman numerals VI, also has OWL marking actually inside the periscope. It is of all metal construction, comes into two parts and measures approx 16in long and approx 4in wide.

Any comments would be appreciated.

i have the same periscope but a little bit shorter, although i'm not a 100% certain the chances are very likely that it came from a ww2 british armoured vehicle, the trouble is i'm having a hard time trying to think which one would need a tube 16" long.
if you'd be willing to part with it i would like to use it on my cromwell restoration.
