Must have been a hoard or bank release a quantity of them a few years ago? I got a couple sets of 2DM for all the years, I think, from a small time coin dealer locally. Only one or two 5 RM, they were more expensive. Not alot of money involved to get a historically interesting coin set. May sell the duplicate set some day.

Just reexamined my small lot. Mostly A's a couple D's and an F. Well I suppose the collectors grasp at any variation that may add value to their items. The marks mean nothing to me but I suppose I could find out rather quickly online. My 5RM cost 8.50 USD so considering dealer markup or inflation of value, that is not a lot of money for a historically interesting silver coin. Ebay has lots of the RM coins advertised as "rare" etc. for rather low prices too.

Very nice collection, didnt realise about the letters on the coins, you learn something new every day.
