    cool stuff, Do you know what that basket type sleeve is? Personally that's where I'd keep my Lieutenant, there'd be enough air getting in for him breath and he'd be out of my hair.

    Its a transit case for a large calibre shell.

    I think the cap is Soviet? It certainly has a button and chinstrap from a Red Army cap.

    Some nice pieces just shows what still lurks in attics / barns etc even today
