Sword? dagger?

hellow my friends, just got the beauty given by a friend, it was in his attic for many many years.... we are in Italy Piave river area WW1, it looks like an Austrian dagger?
Has anybody got an idea, tks very much RGS J

It is a pioneer's short sword also called artillery short sword,it is austro-hungarian model 1915,I am from Romania and I found one of these in the attic of my grandparents house some years ago but mine is a little bit rustier and the wood handle was eaten away by ratzz so I made a new handle and cleaned it up

No problem Jimmone, I'm glad to be of some help, here is the one that I found in the attic some years ago, I've cleaned it up and sharpened it but sadly the base of the blade is a little eaten away by rust and the markings are no longer visible, anyway hope to post some more finds soon, ciao
