They are a really nice rifle. Mine is a 1918 ERFURT.

Actually, it is a Polish Kar98, Poland's copy of the German Kar98a. The style of the stacking hook and lack of sling slot in the butt stock are the dead giveaways for the Polish Kar. Now, many of the Polish Kar98 were made using at least some German parts so it may have German receiver markings but the Polish stock makes it a Polish product. It is a nice and desirable rifle.
