I just saw this thread. I have something I thought I woudl share with people that were interested in CG-4A gliders. At one time, I had owned a glider nose, but had too many projects and not enough space to store them. The image I am including is painted on aircraft grade fabric. The seams are cut with pinking shears. It is very old, some of the paint has actualluy "coagulated" for lack of a better word. It is approx 3 feet in diameter and the aircraft it was cut from was dark green. Anyone want to guess what it is and where it came from?

Nice piece you got there Denny.
I think this is a early piece if I am correct from a trainning school.

I agree, and I just dont have space for it. Anyone know a good place to sell it other than Ebay?
Thanks Chris, What is the collectors guild? Is it a website/ can you provide a link please?
Thanks, Denny
Thanks, I gues I will just put it on Ebay. I dont have a place for it here, I need to stop collecting and find this stuff new homes. I am going to narrow my collecting to MacDill field items.
Thanks for the help, Denny
Why dont you contact the Imperial war Museum at Duxford England, see if they are interested
Thanks for the suggestion. This artwork was used in the US CONUS only. I am not sure they woudl have any interest in it in England. I just finished listing it on "THAT E " auction site. That is my best chance to get a good price for it. Thanks to all for your help.. I have been unemployed since December, I need to get what I can for this item.
Thanks for all the suggestions and help.
Denny
