Having recently bought a rucksac for the Para helmet which was inside, I was very pleased with the grenade, holster, etc which also came with it (see thread http://warrelics.eu/forum/equipment-...ion-buy-59030/). This got me thinking about the other items I had bought and found 'extras' inside when I got home.
The young lady smoking was found inside a 1943 dated book about the bombing in Conventry. It is actually an image done by Vargas and has carefully been cut out of a calender (April 1944 I think).
The Lyons tea bag is actually an old paper sweet (candy) bag, it was found in the pocket of a Great coat.
The two Channel Island posters were found folded inside some WW2 newspapers (sorry for the quality of the picture!).
How lucky have other members got? What have you found in the bottom of packs and in the pockets and liners of jackets and coats which you weren't expecting?
