Damn!! I only live a short drive from there!! Wish I had of gone to that garage sale... LOL

I doubt the thing is live It is just a scare tactic used by the police... These things are easily disarmed, I really hope to god they don't blow it up.

Rumor has that my grandfather brought a ww2 stick grenade back from Vietnam says my dad and that it may be at my aunt's house somewhere but I doubt it's still there because it would be in my by collection now but if I get it someday how will I know it's not live?

Mills bombs are fairly simple do disarm, though most EOD's just chuck a detonator charge and some sandbags over it do dispose of em.

Note: I don't endorse people trying to defuse grenades without the proper training or authority, remember it's not just you on the line, but there's also the poor sod that would have to clean up after.

4-5 days ago i was offered 2 Mills from a guy who found a whole crate of them somewhere! He has connections with the War Museum so he deactivated them all! The ones i was offered were up to 150 the pair so i declined the offer! I think i will find some Mills toys somewhere for a better price in the future!

For us in Australia 150eu would be a bargain! They cost $250+ for a good one when you can find them...
