    Hi, to be honest I don't like both of them. IMO they're both reproductions.

    I dont know anything about these to be honest the only thing I would say is are they being reproduced? To me for a buckle that is not popular and would not sell that many would they make a copy of it?

    Hi Ben, they are well reproduced since many years and they have a big market too. Some excellent reproductions are also sold in Wien museum, but copies come also from Czech Republic, Poland, etc.
    Originals are not that expensive , a one piece construction buckle sells for 50/60 euro but the 2 piece buckles can sell over 120/150 euro. Copies are quite well made and sometimes tricky if properly aged.

    They are! I learnt that the hard way, been burnt a couple of times before I decided to study these buckles
