Hello,

They make excellent reproductions of the various Austro-Hungarian buckles, including this one. Some of the fakes do have a Hungarian crown hallmark on the upper side of the buckle. Otherwise, it's anybody's guess. Personally, I would like to see some wear on a buckle this old.
