    Hi, mates !

Want to show You this Austrian-Hungarian "Kampfmesser Modell 1917", (K.u.k. fighting knife 1917 pattern), also called, "Sturmmesser", ("storm-knife" / otherwise, "assault-knife").

Here´s an intersting thread, I spotted in an italian forum:

Here´s another, pretty nice one, maker: probably Simon Redtenbacher Sensenwerke, Linz ?

Can someone measure the thickness of the blade stock please and post it. Can seem to find anything regarding specs of the Sturmmesser 1917 except OAL and Blade length and those seem to vary. For instance I see the Blade length from 8" to 8.5".

    Thanks,
    Russ
