    Hello!
    I inherited this piece from my grandfather when i was small. I have had it for many years and always wondered what it was.
    My grandfather told me it was something from an austrian uniform from ww1 but im not sure that is right.
    Anyway i would be very happy and thankfull if anyone could tell me what this is.

    Hi Joakim, not to well up on the KuK (Army of the Austro-Hungarian Empire), but I do know they wore similiar devices on their uniforms as part of shooting awards etc...have a look here to see if you can find them.. Austro-Hungarian Land Forces 1848-1918

    I have looked through the site, but i couldnt find anything like these!
    Is the armyu really called kuk? that is a very bad word in swedish! :-D

    Joakim....it certainly is ! kuk stands for "kaiserlich und königliche Armee" or in English "Imperial and Royal Army" see here.... Austro-Hungarian Army - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
