    For some reason, the B-3 did not want to post in my previous reply. Let's try this again...OK. The image does not want to post. I keep getting an error message "not a valid file" so we won't use that one.

    I might have to eat my words. The image I found on wikipedia did not look like our 11th Squadron bomber but this one does. Look at the simplified center-section struts-a great match for the ebay auction. If this is indeed a B-3A, then I think it a great candidate.

    In the photo posted of the E bay "Jiggs" aircraft , the wording is most likely 11th Bombardment Squadron , it "appears to me this is what is there .

    That's Mr.Jiggs there on the nose, the image is reversed on this side as they did this when it was painted on bith sides of an aircraft in that period .
