    193Os FRENCH PILOT SWEETHEART PENDANT?

this pendant has a french 1930s (?) pilot badge engraved on one side, a winged tricoleur on the other. the enamel speed lines make me thing 'art deco.' it is heavy (silver or nickel plate I reckon) with a 'beehive' mark on the back with writing next to it I cant read - maybe 'P ... 96' strangely the shape esp. the top resembles a ... toilet seat!

please help with an ID. many thanks.

Ok got close with a loupe and the 'bee hive' might be a bell - whatever, it's flanked either side by a hatchet and a knife. So i guess the make produced implements.... Still like to know what the devil it is; hope someone can help.

The style/design of the logo and the enamel look too modern to me
to be that early. I'd say somewhere in the 70's or 80's............
    Regards,

Sometimes there are 'inside' jokes between pilots or aircrew - in the same way
that pilots aquire nicknames - it can be something related to their name
or a saying one might use. So it could very well be the lid of a toilet,
and this charm/fob was then made up as a token of the event.

No idea as to it's meaning or value though. You would need
to talk to a member of the French Airforce............!
    Regards,

    Steve.
