Default 240th AHC Maddog Flight Helmet

Digging through some old foot lockers ran upon my helmet from my days with the 240th Assault Helicopter Company, Greyhounds (Slicks) and Maddogs (Guns) 1968-1969.

The 240th supported Special Forces operations and the 9th Infantry Division throughout III Corps. I flew over 900 combat hours with the 240th. The first month with the slicks and the remaining time with the maddogs.

Attached are a couple pic of my "trench art" helmet.
