    Nick i'm on my first Bomber Command trip of the year , Dambusters in May , have you been to the Dams before ??
    The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

    1st July 1916

    Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,

    Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
    We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,

    Yes Paul, I went to them all in the early 80's when stationed over there!

    They will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up! Take some pics please , I didnt

    Will do mate , Guy Gibson has always been a great hero of mine , I should be doing a few Dambusters Tours as the year goes on !!
