RAF Mk VII Flying Goggles
Heres a pic of a $300 Box Lid , lol .
About 10 years ago , I bought a NOS MkVII Set in Box from a trusted source.
They were so hard to get even back then , I didnt care and had to have to complete my set.
Arrived at my PO Box and I signed for it , then realised the bottom was cut out of it and all I had was a empty box

Ohh man, that s***s.
Another one of the horror stories.
Ive hear people ending up with very expensive bricks instead of what they thought they bought as well.
There are some thieving swine out there with an utter lack of morals.
For some reason, many of these seems to congregate in this our hobby.

Wasnt my suppliers fault, I trust him without question , got cut open somewhere in transit and relieved of its contents .
Things make make you go Mmmmmmmmmmm !
But I did sook about it for a long time , guess what !

Understandably so. I would be bummed out as well. Some things just dont attain a rosy tint over time.
I gathered, that you trusted the source - must have been a crime perpetrated en route.
