did someone shoot them or are they unused?

Ive seen a couple of those on ebay their price drops fairly quickly, no strings attached...

I don't think I've seen a cheap WW2 Observer Parachute pack....post ones usually go pretty cheap but I have seen some crazy prices lately

I have been trying to locate an Irvin harness and chute for years now. Have a pristine, unused US WW2 one. Need it for my RAF pilot display.
