    Due to a clever and friendly forum friend who pointed out that these were for sale on a foreign(to me) site; I was able to lay hand on these original pictures.
    Here is the story of what the pictures represent; the Belgian Force Publique / Weermacht recieved a Hawker Hardy from the RAF 237 (Rhodesian) Squadron on May 14th, 1941......and wrecked it on the 26th of the same month during the landing.

    Yes a very short and sad story, but still happy with the pic's.

    Looks like the "Brass" turned up in a DH Puss Moth to take a look....Or maybe pick up the pilot???
