Picked this I think its a ww1 Aircraft magneto from what I can find out , its still works which is rare to find
It's the AMS 4809 that dates from around 1916-17. It was mounted in the cockpit as a starting magneto, and produced a strong spark when turned over by the pilot during engine ignition. Whether it's a twin spark or four spark type I don't know, but it's sure to give a hell of a kick either way!
