A good tunic for someone in the Swedish Home Guard.

Reenactors used to dye these and use them as German tunics. That was before reproductions were widely available.

After a small search i discovered that this tunic is a m/39 that has redone for the m/59 style by putting two pockets on the rear.I would like to know if the collars, buttons etc are ww2 or post war made. Here is a photo of a inside pocket's button. Thanks for your time and help1943 Swedish Tunic

I have one of these tunics, too. Mine has the blue 'H' and crown home guard badge. I'm not sure if I ever posted it...

Mate i found a answer for the buttons with the 3 swedish crowns. The front buttons have made from the same manufactor, but this not for the buttons at the backside pockets. So i believe that the front buttons are ww2 made
