Bulgarian steel helmet, original?

Hi, im from Finland and i have just started to collect WW2 items and i got this Bulgarian helmet and im not sure is it original.
I did a littlebit research and i found out that it could be M36 type C.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

This is an original helmet, many Bulgarian m36 helmets have been re-fit for use in the cold war era, this looks as though it hasn't. These have such little value to collectors I could never see them being 'faked', although perhaps disguised as TR items to fool the really uninformed.

A nice start! I actually started out my helmet collecting with a very similar helmet. Best 20 bucks I ever spent!
