    I must dissapoint you... Yes, they are very hard to find. Most of Croatian WW2 insignia on the market are fake! There are some originals, mostly dug up in Slovenia from mass tombs. I'll post my only ones later... Oh, and that's police cap badge.

    This is not completely true. All the area between northern Slovenia and Southern Austria around Bleiburg was a major retreat area: most of the badges found there in the past 20 years have been found on corn fields or along the main roads, where the soldiers discarded their gear and insignias.

    I can agree with you, but I'd say that these insignia found by the road is very rare, because people were very affraid to have something like that in the house. Yugoslavian authorities were extremly brutal in situations like this. They were literally killing people for things like keeping enemy insignia in the house.

    Hello Schachbrett, I mean also now, found the in cornfields just aside of the road, not period. that's from where most of these insignia come from.
