I picked up this nice NSJ cap badge to add to my meager Dutch collection. It's a beautifully detailed crisp badge. I wish I had a cap to join it.

This stuff is so extremely rare, especially clothing items. They still have a WA side cap for sale though. I have only ever seen a few original WA uniforms. I've only ever seen a single Schalkhaar politie uniform. I've also never seen a Jeugdstorm uniform except in pictures.

Its because most of this stuff was burnt when the allies arrived. That is why the high members of the NSB, WA etc for the most were arrested in civilian clothing.

Thanks for the link Bas. I would like to start out with a few patches then maybe a cap if I can find one for a reasonable price. Of course as always, Lack of money and display room will play a major factor in what I pick up.

No problem, Al. Patches are generally your best bet around this kind of thing anyway. I believe the collectors guild still has a NSB overcoat.

The last Jeugdstorm cap I saw went for about 1100 euros. Like I said, this stuff is very rare to come across.
