    Default Portuguese Legion M1916 Helmet

    Hi everyone,
I want to share with you this my helmet of "Legiao Portuguesa", volunteers in the Spain War (1936-1939) alongside to General Francisco Franco.
It's a WW1 Portuguese mod. 1916 refurbished with a new liner, probably in the 20/30s and repainted in dark green color.
On the front side is present the "Avis Cross" brass made, symbol of the Legion.
I believe that originally these helmets, next relatives of British Brodie MK1, were manufactured in UK.
It's very special piece for me, but I'd like to know your opinions.

    greetings
    Roberto
