New addition to my collection - Crusade Against Communism Medal 1942-1944.

The medal reads:
Obverse:
CRUCIADA IMPOTRIVA COMUNISMULUI

Reverse:
ROMANIA RECUNOSCATOARE

Translation:
Obverse:
Crusade against Communism

Reverse:
Romania is thankful

Those medals were also award to the German soldiers.

Gday mate,
It looks good to me.I have two in my collection and they are a nice side addition to any TR collection as they were awarded to many Germans fighting with the Rumanians on the Eastern Front.
You regualy see German ribbon bars with the ribbon for this award.
Will post mine and a ribbon bar tonight (Australian time) for comparison.

very nice medals everyone. heres a little something for everyone, there are fakes of this medal being made. origional medals have a "P Gant" hallmark underneath the lady's head.

I read that medals without P.Grant were made in Germany.
