That shield is truly nice, look at the colour of the backgrund- Very interesting example!

Yes true, for long period of times we cant find anything for the private museums, then the second you are low on funds- usually alot of treasures comes for sale at once. haha, so is life for us addicts

Oh well, just to know these historical objects are safe in some collection makes me somewhat happy

A picture in my collection of which I am not sure what it is.
There are several soldier which are wearing rebuild booty dutch jackets. The man on the front left has no shoulder boards. It could be russians but I am not sure.
    Any opinions ?

That helmet is wonderful. And additional photos like this is just great to add to the information we have. It looks like the cap has a similar swastika, interesting..

What collartabs are they wearing? White borders??

I believe that the men on the picture are officers and then the collarpatches must be (early style) with silver for officers.

Terek cossack with rebuild dutch booty jacket. The shoulderboards and collarpatches are of a ''Wachtmeister - feldwebel''.
The armshield is the latest pattern of 1944.
The silver stripe through the armshield is unknown for me, also the two below the armshield, although this can be ''Bewahrungsabzeichen''.
