Hmmm Strange.I think that may be the god Mercury on the left.

Could be a memorial, commemorative, or company medal. I cannot read the full
inscription. It may have originally been in a presentation box or case.

'Georg Hitl' died in 1923, and was apparently the owner of 'Carl Poellath'
A metallic arts, awards and association medals manufacturer in
Schrobenhausen, Germany, from 1898. This firm produced
military medals later as well.............
