WW2 Hungarian M1939 ski set

Article about: Hi All - Just got this item - something I don't see very often, at least not in this complete condition. It's a Hungarian M1939 ski pair, as used by the mountaineer troops (see last referenc

Hey guys - I forget to update... I will make some pics.
Unfortunately, one of the leather straps was ripped during shipping, so I was kind of bummed...but I'll show on the photos.
Later today, or tomorrow morning I'll post some.

    Another question I have:

I just saw this ski-set with original winter camo paint still present (and with some kind of serial or unit code /199/), which is very rare to find here in Hungary - no straps at all:

...but also saw this ski strap set - my question: could this leather strap set be installed to the above ski set with no straps? I'm guessing, both around the same age (1930s - 40s). What do you guys think? Both have fairly good prices (both sets for around 32 Euroes) If yes, I could go look for old antik screws maybe...
