    thats one fine example nick and well displayed ,tell me as im not clued up on these is this the type they call the fritz and is it the forerunner to the pasgt helmet sorry for all the questions james

    this is a PASGT helmet nicknamed the fritz due to its resemblance to the German WW2 helmet. this is basically the introduction of the Kevlar helmet & sounded the death note to the work horse that was the M-1.

    thanks for the info nick , i think i would like one of these in my collection now ,it just goes to show you the germans got the design right , can i ask when this type of design was first introduced

    this design came in to use in the early 80's.

    nick does s4 denote the size of the helmet and was this used in desert storm cheers james
