Luger has been partially disassembled during war. A cartridge in chamber was not. Finally of pistol have made breadboard model for re-enactors, shooting blank cartriges.

I have a little question about the (amazing) stuff that u find.
Do you have a little museum of your own? What do you do with all those findings? Maybe it's told somewhere in this forum but i haven't read it anywhere.

Is the VIS a ground dug relic?Was it clean or did you find it like that?It looks good enough to shoot!

Yes, really. VIS and Mauser were in ammo box MG34, in the same place there was an oiled rags.

Yes, it agree. When you find an interesting thing, in blood the huge quantity of adrenaline gets. Pulse becomes very frequent.... Probably, it occurs at all people who are engaged in this hobby.

The very rusty pistol could be finnish - m/19 Spanish - pistol. So called Ruby. Manufacterer could be Gregorio Bolomburu (under the brandname Regent, Regina, Gloria). ( Ruby pistol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ).

Great finds, don´t you think, that you are close to the point, that it must be really rarity before your hands will shake for exitement.
