    Hi John, the tracks are from a Universal Carrier: but it does say that in the original post.

    Top tip - If you get a detection and spend the next 30 minutes digging a 2 foot deep hole and you STILL haven't found the item......move to the side a little bit !!

    Hello - just noticed that of the .303 rounds the right-hand one (picture showing them all standing up) is a blank round. Were they used to fire some sort of grenade, otherwise seems an odd thing to cart over to France at that time.
