    Could someone please identify the "Badenkampf" badge .e. tell me what it is and what unit etc. I have a vested interest but have no knowledge on German items whatsoever (I assume it is German?). Many thanks.

    Great, that's very interesting, thank you. What I know of German militaria could be put on the back of a postage stamp! I have only ever collected British and US items with a heavy leaning towards RAF flying gear and British medals.

    It may be of interest to members to know that a modern Western NATO miltary unit uses a denazified version of the Anti-Partisan Badge as its insignia. I doubt it is something that is common knowledge.

    Nice numbered medal hopefully you might be able to trace the original owner !!

    It might be worth to start a new thread about similarity's of "now and then" badges, I came across some as well.
