20mm Head for ID

Hi guys,

Yesturday i went on a club dig near a Wartime airfield. One of the guys found this 20mm head. At the end i asked him if could take a picture for the forum, he said i could have it

Now that is quite odd WH. Not seen anything like that before.......I shall have to have a ponder on this one....

Found a lot of 20mm heads on digs - but not seen one quite like this either - very odd!

It is probably a hollow steel Target Practise Projectile made by Bridgeport or the Auto-Lite Corporation. One or two unidentified UK companies were also involved in making these.
