Hi,
I thought you might like to see what was given to me by an old Veteran.
This was taken from a young german soldier in france by a British soldier
he was part of a tank crew. It contains the following.
1914 5 pfennig, 1925 10 pfennig, 1932 10 pfennig, 1942 2 francs,
1928 1 francs 1923 200 mark, 1935 5 mils palistine and 1927 25 ces,?
also the W.W.1 Iron cross, W.W.1 vererans badge, Medal of wilhelm 1.
and a luft eagle badge on the front. the cap badge was his own.
great gift.

Thanks looter, he is a really nice old guy, but he is dying of cancer
and will be missed.

Super gift Dave i really love the Scots Greys Cap Badge i take it he was a Scots Grey ??

Hi Paul,
Yes he was in the Greys, it is his own badge he was in a tank crew that
went right through to germany. He was in a sherman tank.

I agree with the others, very nice gift. Things like these are priceless and tell so much more then yust another unissued EKII. Never trade or sell this!

Have you seen the painting " Scotland Forever " the charge of the Scots Greys at Waterloo ?? Brilliant work, unfortunately my missus drwas the line at it being over the fireplace
