    This was lying on the surface on one of my local WWII airfields yesterday:

    RAF radio valve VR22 10E/7958 (battery triode) as fitted in the following receiver sets from 1936 onwards:

    R1082 (HF Aircraft Rx, paired with T1083)
    R1084 (HF Ground Station Rx)
    R1093 (Rx for Tranceiver TR1091)
    R1120 (Rx for Tranceiver TR9D)
    R1139 (Rx for Tranceivers TR9F & TR9H)
