The part pictured below was found on a former B-17 base dump site ... It has the words 'Emergency off' followed by an arrow and, on the other side, 'Boeing' and, although it is difficult to read, the part number 81-4101.

If anybody ... like Paul Bellamy ... could identify it ... i'd be very grateful.

Closest visual and part number match I can find is the Ignition Switch Link 41-4103.
It's basically a kill-switch for all four engines.

I'll try to get a clear photo of the part in position, the switches are on top of the throttle quadrant, between the throttles and the instrument panel.

    All the best,
    PB

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for the id ... I'm sure that this is what the item is! Of course, how it got into a dump that produces mostly domestic items ... I guess we'll never know!

    Thanks again,
    Gremlin
