WH doesn't need any bonus points. Being a jammy git he has enough already.

Nice kit bag lock The ones I've dug are always either in two bits or, with 2 examples, all twisted and bent. Interestingly though that they all seem to break in the same place.........the eyelet

Well another short pasty munching session, short as in 45mins and not that my pasty was short, but then that would probably depend on how hungry you were?
I had all weathers today,it started off really hot and ended with hails! Anyhow heres a few finds, admittedly this place needs a proper job,as soon as time allows i'll give it my fullest attention. In the mean time.......These finds were from the tracks surrounding the dump, coins and buttons from the same area so im assuming its from some clothing with some change left in a pocket?
I can make out the one cent, the eagle outline is a quarter dollar,im at a loss as to the other although i can make out the head of Victoria. An L P Co screw cap, maybe off a toothpaste tube? okay its not much but you should have seen the amount of rubbish i dug out!

I found myself back at the camp today, just went over the same ground as before and picked up what i previously missed.Nice 50's clearly stamped and a British 303,not sure what the connector is,could be nothing.Made of brass possibly, with a small lug on either side, any ideas?

The brass piece on the right of the picture is I think the end of a drain rod or a chimney sweeping rod. John.
