I hope the two of you can find the rest of it. Maybe part of a set used for tactical mud maps? Not seen one before. Dimensions?

I think the model far more resembles the Japanese T 97 Chi Ha medium tank-primary type used by them throughout the war (though armour played only a small part of almost all their operations 1937-45)-would have been used as a familiarisation aid for the troops especially A/T units.

Like most of these sorts of models/diagrams of enemy equipment, it's not entirely accurate but close enough.

PS note the DoD 'Broad Arrow' mark for official govt property, not a souvenir or trench art piece!

    Hey Blokes

If you remember about 8 months ago I met a local bloke and he took me to his back shed where he had slavageda box filled with same similiar models btu ehre were marked as US Grant, US Sherman IV, etc ~ all wee broken up far more than the one Dwayne found yesterday ~

I assumed they were used for Identify foe and friendly armour ~

I did a solo hunt today and made a spectacular find ~ in a hat badge ~ Will report soon ~

The Boys round case was a nice score ~ the badge backing plate was different ~ and was folded in half ~

I had to straighten ~ but it is extremely robust compared most that I have found previously ~

That is the first toothbrush I have found ~ marked ~ "Premier- Made in USA- sterilized - H."

Very clean 9 mm rounds ~

    1943 KG VI penny ~

( I actually gave away some bits and pieces including coin to some site seers that talked to me ~ !

They were pleasantly surprised that I was willing to give them some WWII souvenirs ~ )
