Hi Chopper and welcome to the forum.
Looks like you have some interesting finds in amongst that lot. Have you thought about cleaning the mud off them ? So long as you're careful you won't damage the relics and it will help to preserve them. It will also probably reveal marks on some items enabling positive identification as to their exact usage.
Just in case you didn't have it, the link below is to your dogtag owners enlistment card.....
NARA - AAD - Display Full Records - Electronic Army Serial Number Merged File, ca. 1938 - 1946 (Enlistment Records)
...this is a good start and should enable you to track his descendants down
Other than that I can see headphone jacks along with 50cal projectiles and cartridges. Any chance of some more photos ?

yep will put some more up later

Some interesting items there Chopper.
I can see a lump of burst oxygen bottle, an engine cowling support link, a parachute buckle, possibly a ball turret mounting bush and a few other items that may be identifiable from part numbers.
All the best,
PB
Nice lot!
Was this lot from the crash site you mentioned in another post? Do you know what bomb group it was from?
