The first two Russian guys we found were also lying in a similar way the head of the second guy was lying on the boots / feet of the first guy . The first guy had lots of PPsH rounds with him and the second who had the medal and cig case we found his pouches with full compliment of Moisin Nagant ammunition.

Germans were found on the higher part of the Gren.Hill. It's Eastern part of the hill. Strictly under the tourists rout.
We know that in hollow between first and second hills were also german positions and amoung them were batalion of 88 flaks. It was a soldiers of 33 gren regiment (estonians). The russians started offensive in july 27 from the first hill. They took positions in the hollow and remains of germans troops from there were pushed back to the second hill, then russians captured second hill, they came from the eastern, lower part. And we think those two soldiers were killed during this episode of battle.
This bus of our estonian friends from Tallinn, that were with us.

Despite much digging around the Grenadier Hill we didn't find anymore remains until late in the day. In the trenchline on the east side of the hill facing the Kinderheim we found a skull with a small amount of other bones , but no remains of the rest of the body !!! Much Moisin Nagant ammo as well so presumably the remains of a Russian soldier.
