What a fantastic find Paul , so much still with him including his soldbuch and personal property , hopefully the dog tag will identify him !!

Very interesting that he is from the Flanders Legion then will have been with SS Kampgruppe De Haese part of the SS Sturmbrigade Langemarck who fought on the hills.

The SS Ring is in very good condition and so many bits of the soldiers personal life.

Did they excavate the body ok ?

Hello, Paul, good evening. Yes they cleaned him up during 7 hours but it was dark allready. They made a pictures but...I'm not expect that it will be good pics, I still not seen them. Lately, they will send to us a pictures and we will see.

Crossroad on the hill, where the Robo show the place where he leave half of the body under the road. There hidden trench which was around of the hill, in that place most of the trenches was closed. So, there also a couple of a good signals, also, I've detect that signal, but I don't know by which of reasons that place was not recovered fully, but closed back ( probably the big shell's fragmentation was a reason, which is remains on the hole and doesen't removed?)
