Guys the digging this time was very difficult this time due to the heavy rain and clinging mud , true Ostfront battlefield conditions were recreated !!!

This didn't stop the excavations it just made taking photos difficult with all our fancy digital cameras.

This trip on the first day we found a number of Russian soldiers in the trenches on one of the main German defensive lines.

Two were found in one location and 5 ?? in what appeared to be a shell hole burial.

    Here are a few photos.

Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
